Man arrested after five youths hit by car in Glasgow

A man has been arrested after five youths were hit by a car in the east end of Glasgow.

Emergency services were called to Provanmill Road, in the Blackhill area of the city, at 17:40.

Police Scotland confirmed the five had been taken to the Royal Hospital for Children.

They said a 34-year-old man had been arrested in connection with the incident. Inquiries are continuing.
