Baby girl dies after becoming ill at Craig Tara holiday park

A baby girl has died after becoming ill at a holiday park in Ayrshire.
The one-year-old became unwell at Haven's Craig Tara caravan park, near Ayr, early on Sunday morning.
Paramedics were alerted at 05:54 and two ambulances were sent to the scene. The child died a short time later at University Hospital, Ayr.
Police Scotland said the baby's death was being treated as "unexplained" and its inquiries were continuing.
A spokesperson for Haven said it was supporting the authorities with their investigations.
"We are deeply saddened by the tragic news," they added.
"Our thoughts are firmly with the family and all those affected at this very difficult time.
"Haven is supporting the authorities with their investigations, and as this is now a police matter, we are unable to comment further."
