Police investigate car fire outside home in Cambuslang

Neighbours on Meadow Drive saw the car catch fire shortly after midnight.
Police have launched an investigation into a car fire on the driveway of a home in South Lanarkshire.
Residents on Meadow Drive in Newton, Cambuslang, saw a BMW SUV catch fire at about 00:30. No injuries were reported.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) said one fire engine was dispatched to the scene and the blaze was safely extinguished.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances."
