Missing woman found in River Kelvin in Glasgow named by police

A 59-year-old woman whose body was recovered from the River Kelvin in Glasgow two weeks ago has been named by police.

Katrina Winters was reported missing after emergency services were called to reports of two people in the water, near Eldon Street, on 11 October.

A man was rescued from the river and taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

Ms Winters's body was not recovered until 10 November.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said there were no apparent suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.
