Detectives arrest man, 25, over Greenock death

Michael Beaton was found with serious injuries on a Greenock street
Detectives investigating the death of a man in Greenock have made an arrest.
Michael Beaton, 35, was found with serious injuries on the Inverclyde town's Drumfrochar Road, at about 19:20 on Sunday.
Mr Beaton was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow but died a few hours later.
Police Scotland confirmed that a 25-year-old man had been arrested in connection with the death and said inquiries were ongoing.
