Police name woman killed in Ayrshire crash

Kayla Wilson was pronounced dead after the two-car crash

A woman who died following a crash in East Ayrshire has been named by police.

Kayla Wilson, 24, was pronounced dead at the scene of the two-car crash on the B7038 Ayr Road in Kilmarnock at about 09:35 on Monday 18 December.

She was driving a red Vauxhall Corsa which was in collision with a blue Audi Q2.

The 67-year-old female driver of the other car and a 64-year-old female passenger were taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.

Police urged anyone who saw what happened, or saw the cars before the crash, to contact officers, external.
