Police are investigating the alleged rape of a girl in a popular Glasgow park.

The attack took place about 17:15 in the city's Kelvingrove Park area.

Police were seen at the scene on Sunday morning, near a bridge in the park.

A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed that inquiries were ongoing into the assault.
