KT Tunstall is to appear at the Hebridean Celtic Festival in July

Scottish singer KT Tunstall will be among the headline acts at this year's Hebridean Celtic Festival on Lewis in the Western Isles.

Folk singer Seth Lakeman, singer-songwriter Rachel Sermanni and bands Stornoway, Peatbog Faeries and Manran are also expected to appear.

The festival, which is now in its 16th year, will run from 13-16 July.

Event director Caroline MacLennan said: "We are excited about the range of music on offer this year."

HebCelt is the Western Isles' biggest music festival.

Last year's line-up included bands Runrig and The Bad Shepherds, plus singers Julie Fowlis, Imelda May and Iain Morrison.

Rockers Runrig had not performed at HebCelt since 2005, but signed up for its 15th anniversary year.
