SNH offers funding for 'citizen science' nature records

  • Published

Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH) has offered funding for what it has called citizen science - members of the public trained to accurately record wildlife.

The agency is also keen to provide backing for organisers of guided walks for people with physical and mental health problems.

The two areas are among new priorities SNH has set out for grant aid, for which it has now invited applications.

It said it now had clearer guidance on what projects should deliver.
