Body found in derelict property on Lewis

A man's body has been found at a derelict property on the isle of Lewis.

A Northern Constabulary spokesman said the discovery was made in the Steinish area during a search for missing person Liam Aitchison at about 14:00.

Mr Aitchison's family has been made aware of the discovery but no formal identification has taken place yet.

Police said the death was unexplained and asked anyone with information to contact them.
