Travis join The Wombats as the festival's headline acts

Scots band Travis and Liverpool rockers The Wombats will headline this summer's Belladrum music festival.

The event near Beauly will be held from 3 to 4 August. The last three festivals have been sell-outs.

Soul singer Beverley Knight, Glasgow-based indie band Frightened Rabbit and US band We Are Scientists will also be performing.

Organisers have urged festival-goers to be aware of ticket scams ahead of this year's event.

Festival director Joe Gibbs urged buyers and sellers of unwanted tickets to use "safe, ethical means of transferring their tickets".

He said: "After the event has sold out in the past three years, sadly we have heard of quite a number of our customers being scammed by touts.

"Our website has details of how to transfer e-tickets and printed tickets safely."
