Liam Aitchison murder trial: Judge sends jury home

  • Published

The jury in the Liam Aitchison murder trial will return to the High Court in Glasgow on Monday to consider a verdict.

Jurors had earlier spent more than two hours deliberating on the case.

Judge Lord Kinclaven sent them home for the weekend after they failed to reach a decision for the day.

Johnathan MacKinnon and Stefan Millar, who are both 22, deny murdering Liam in Steinish on Lewis on 23 November 2011. The trial continues.
