New restaurant chains planned for Inverness

Four new restaurants have been proposed for a retail park in Inverness.
Food chains McDonald's, Frankie and Benny's and Chiquito's are interested in occupying three of the planned premises.
Inverness Estates has sought planning permission in principle for the sites at its Inverness Retail and Business Park.
Highland Council officers have recommended that councillors grant permission.
Consent would come with planning conditions covering matters such as landscaping, recycling and drainage.
Members of the council's south planning applications will consider the plans on Tuesday.
The land is zoned for offices, but the developer has asked that it be put to use for food outlets.
