Plans submitted for new Lochaber primary schools

Planning applications have been submitted for three new schools in Fort William.
Highland Council is also preparing tender documents for the projects which will be issued to contractors by the end of the month.
The new schools are a Gaelic primary at Ardgour road in Caol, a new joint campus primary also in the village which will have a Catholic school.
Also a new primary in Lundavra Road in Fort William.
The total cost of the construction is £36.5m and the new schools could be completed by May 2016.
