Approval recommended for new Caithness wind farms

Two proposed wind farms in Caithness have been recommended for approval by officials at Highland Council.
Scottish Power Renewables wants to build 15 wind turbines on a site about 10 miles (16km) south of Thurso.
RWE Npower Renewables is proposing a 13 turbine development on land just south of the existing Causeymire wind farm.
Highland Council's north planning applications committee will consider the plans at a meeting in Inverness on Tuesday.
