The RMT union has held what it described as "constructive talks" with ferry operator Caledonian MacBrayne in a dispute over jobs and pensions.
RMT members in CalMac's workforce will refuse to work overtime on 24 and 25 June on the ferry operator's Clyde and Hebrides services.
The workers have also been instructed not to book on for any duty on 26 June if a ship is in port.
The dispute is over job security, conditions and pensions.
