Belladrum Tartan Heart festival sticking to new three day format

The Belladrum Tartan Heart Music Festival will be held over three days again next year.

The event near Beauly in the Highlands went from a two to a three-day festival for the first time this summer.

Belladrum in 2016 will be held on 4, 5 and 6 August.

Headline acts this year included the Proclaimers, Manic Street Preachers and Kaiser Chiefs.

The opening night of the event, a Thursday, coincided with the main day of the Black Isle Show and resulted in heavy traffic in around the two nearby events.
