Six road signs on Skye shot using air rifle

Several road signs on the Isle of Skye have been shot by a vandal using an air rifle or another kind of firearm, police have said.

Six signs on the A87 between Glen Varragill and Druim Nan Cleoch have been damaged.

Police Scotland has appealed for information.

The force said the cost of replacing the signs would be "considerable".
