Councillors to visit Culachy Wind Farm site
- Published
Councillors have agreed to visit the site of a proposed 13-turbine wind farm to help them make a decision on the project's planning application.
Highland Council officers have recommended that they approve Culachy Wind Farm, south of Fort Augustus.
Developer RES said it has worked hard to create a scheme with a reduced visual impact and that would benefit local communities.
The Mountaineering Council of Scotland opposes the project.
