Divers film flame shell reef 'destruction'
Underwater cameraman Andy Jackson has filmed a "devastated" reef in Loch Carron after it was dredged for scallops twice in the last few weeks.
The footage starts with healthy reef before moving onto the dredged seabed.
The reef is not in a Marine Protected Area and the dredger was operating legally, but Mr Jackson said the breeding grounds for hundreds of species had been destroyed.
Alasdair Hughson, of the Scottish Scallop Divers Association, told the BBC it could take decades or even hundreds of years for the reef to recover.
