Man dies in accident at Highlands quarry

A worker's death at a Highlands quarry is being investigated by police and the Health and Safety Executive.

The 35-year-old man died at Kishorn Quarry in Wester Ross on Wednesday. Emergency services were called to the site at 11:20 that day.

A crowdfunding campaign set up to pay for the man's funeral has named him as Pawel Kocik, a father-of-one.

Police Scotland said a report would be sent to the procurator fiscal in due course.
