Inverness to Wick train services return to normal

Damage caused to part of a railway line's track bed and embankment in Caithness has been repaired.

Floodwaters caused a drainage pipe under the line between Forsinard and Altnabreac to burst.

The section of line was closed on Monday morning, disrupting services between Inverness and Wick.

Network Rail Scotland said the repairs had been finished and ScotRail said services had returned to normal.
