Chloe Morrison lived in Drumnadrochit

The family of a young woman killed in a Highland lorry crash say they are "absolutely devastated" by her death.

Chloe Morrison, 26, was struck by an HGV on the A82 near Drumnadrochit on Friday afternoon.

Police said the pedestrian sustained serious injuries in the crash at about 13:10 and died at the scene.

Relatives of Ms Morrison, who lived in Drumnadrochit, said: "We are absolutely devastated at the loss of our beloved Chloe."

Police appealed for information from anyone who witnessed the crash or has dash-cam footage.

Sgt Ewan Calder said: "Our thoughts are with all of Chloe Morrison's family and friends and our inquiries into this incident are ongoing.

"We would ask any motorists or members of the public who were in the area and may have witnessed the collision, or who may have dash-cam footage, and have not yet spoken to or provided this information to officers, to contact us as soon as possible."
