Paisley man who went missing on fishing trip found safe

A man from Paisley who went missing on a fishing trip to the Highlands has been found safe and well.

David Mooney, 43, was spending the Easter weekend with friends on Loch Cluanie in Glen Shiel, but left the group unexpectedly on Sunday.

Police Scotland said Mr Mooney was traced safe and well on Tuesday.

Officers thanked members of the public for their help during their inquiries.
