Diver dies after being injured at Stornoway Harbour

A diver has died after being injured at Stornoway Harbour on the Isle of Lewis.
The emergency services were alerted to the incident at about 19:15 on Wednesday.
Police Scotland said the 38-year-old man was pronounced dead while he was being taken to Stornoway's Western Isles Hospital.
A spokesman said: "The death is being treated as unexplained and inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances."
The Health and Safety Executive said it was aware of the incident and was working with police in an investigation.
Civil engineering company McLaughlin and Harvey said the incident happened at its Stornoway Deep Water Terminal project site and involved a worker employed by one of its sub-contractors.
The project for the Stornoway Port Authority involves creating a new facility to accommodate large cruise ships and marine renewable energy contracts.
A spokesman for McLaughlin and Harvey said: "Our condolences are with their family and colleagues and we are working to provide support to them.
"An investigation is under way and we're liaising closely with our client and the relevant authorities."
Stornoway Port Authority said: "Our thoughts are with his family and colleagues, and we will work with our contractor to support them at this extremely sad time."
A spokesman said the port authority would be working closely with its contractors and the relevant authorities in the investigation.
