More wintry weather forecast after snow shuts Shetland schools

Warnings of wintry weather across several parts of Scotland have been issued after snow forced the closure of all schools in Shetland.
The latest Met Office warnings, external cover Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
It had previously issued a yellow "be aware" warning, external for Shetland, where schools were also closed last week due to snow.
More than 60 schools and nurseries in the Highland Council area were closed or had no school transport on Tuesday.
A yellow weather warning of sleet and snow showers for the Hebrides, Highlands and Orkney is now in place from 17:00 Tuesday to 10:00 Wednesday. It includes a forecast for gales for Orkney.
The Met Office has also issued a warning for snow from 16:00 on Wednesday to 04:00 on Thursday for north and north east Scotland, Lothian, Dumfries and Galloway and the Borders.
Up to 10cm (4in) of snow could accumulate in areas above 400m (1,312ft).
Heavy rain has also been forecast for parts of western Scotland on Thursday. A warning, which also covers parts of England, has been put in place for much of the day with between 40-70mm (1.5-3in) of rain expected widely and possibly more than 100mm (4in) in some places.
Snow showers, which could be heavy at times, have been forecast for Shetland and are expected to persist through Tuesday. The islands' weather warning is due to expire at 11:00 on Wednesday.
The Met Office said: "Snow is likely to be particularly persistent for a time late Monday evening and Tuesday early hours and again later on Tuesday.
"Further accumulations of several centimetres of snow is expected."
Skye, Lochalsh and parts of Lochaber, Wester Ross, Sutherland and Caithness have been among areas of the Highlands to have had overnight snowfall and further flurries on Tuesday morning.
A small number of schools in Dumfries and Galloway have been closed due to difficult driving conditions.
The runway at Orkney's Kirkwall Airport had be cleared of snow to allow for flights.
The conditions follow last week's snow that closed schools in Shetland and the Highlands.
