Driver charged over Aviemore crash with articulated lorry

A 61-year-old man has been charged following a crash involving a car and an articulated lorry on the A9 near Aviemore.
The collision happened between Aviemore and Granish at about 18:10 on Monday.
Police said the 46-year-old driver of the DAF lorry was hurt but his injuries were not life-threatening.
The driver of the Vauxhall Mokka car was charged with careless driving. The road was closed for about nine and a half hours.
The road was reopened at 04:30 on Tuesday following an investigation.
Sgt Doug Scott, of Police Scotland, said: "Our inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident , externalto get in touch.
"In addition, if you were driving in the area at the time please check your dashcam footage to see if it has captured anything that could assist with our investigation."
