Two fishermen have been rescued after being thrown overboard off the Buchan coast.

The Spray's crew were picked up by another fishing vessel after the incident, which happened off Cairnbulg Point shortly after midday.

The Fraserburgh lifeboat had been sent to the scene to assist and the boat was towed back to harbour.

The men involved were not thought to have been seriously hurt despite their ordeal.
