Members of the public concerned about the spending squeeze can apply for tickets

As public funding faces the biggest squeeze for decades, BBC Radio Scotland is to begin a series of debates in Aberdeen.

The programme will be recorded in the city on Sunday 10 October, for broadcast the next day.

Leading politicians will face questions from the audience.

Anyone concerned about the impact on local services, or with ideas on savings, can apply for a ticket by e-mailing northeastdebate@bbc.co.uk

It should include a postal address for sending tickets.

A daytime phone number should also be sent if the applicant wishes to submit a question.
