Proposals to build up to 900 homes on the site of a former paper mill in Aberdeen have been submitted to the city council.
Stewart Milne Homes is looking to regenerate the Davidson Mill site in Bucksburn.
The company said the aim was to transform the 83-acre site with between 700 and 900 homes.
The plans will go on display at a public exhibition early next year, ahead of a final planning application.
John Low, managing director of Stewart Milne Homes North Scotland, said: "The former Davidson paper mill site represents an exciting regeneration opportunity for the Bucksburn area."
An Aberdeen City Council spokesperson confirmed it had received the application.
