Chevron's North Sea gas release investigated

A gas release on a North Sea platform is being investigated.
The 135 personnel on board Chevron's Alba Northern platform, 130 miles north east of Aberdeen, were called to muster on Wednesday afternoon.
Chevron said emergency shutdown systems were activated immediately, functioned correctly, and no-one was hurt.
The company said the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) had been informed, and the cause of the release would be fully investigated.
The muster was stood down just over an hour after the incident.
