Appeal for Aberdeen Boxing Day Nippy Dipper entrants

An appeal has been made for entrants for Aberdeen's annual Boxing Day charity plunge into the North Sea.
The Aberdeen Lions Club Nippy Dipper event raised more than £10,000 last year thanks to more than 100 "hardy" participants, many in fancy dress.
Participants can raise funds for their own charity or good cause, or support the Lions Club's designated charity, the Lord Provost's Charitable Trust.
Participants will run into the sea at Aberdeen beach at about 1030 GMT.
The dip takes place opposite the Beach Leisure Centre on Sunday 26 December.
Anyone wishing to take part can get in touch via aberdeenlions@hotmail.co.uk or call 07775 445 778 or 07540 286 379.
