Cruelty charges over Shetland salmon farm deaths

Two fish farm managers have been charged with animal cruelty at a salmon farm in Shetland after the death of thousands of fish.

The incident happened at Hoganess Salmon in August last year.

The Scottish SPCA and government agencies have been carrying out an investigation into allegations of chemical poisoning.

Two men have been reported to the procurator fiscal in connection with the inquiry.
