Vandals cause damage to Aberdeen's Winter Gardens

Vandals have caused about £3,000 of damage to Aberdeen's Winter Gardens, home to a talking cactus named Spike.
A total of 16 windows were damaged in the Cacti House at the famous Duthie Park venue.
The mechanical cactus recently returned to the Winter Gardens after an absence of more than 12 years.
Grampian Police said the Cacti House had to close for four days due to the "mindless" crime, leading to disappointment for children.
The cactus, which has a periscope eye, was removed in 1998 after breaking down.
