Man in court over £100,000 heroin seizure in Aberdeen

Police said drugs were recovered at Aberdeen railway station

A man has appeared in court after heroin with an estimated street value of £100,000 was seized at Aberdeen railway station.

Sean McEllin, 37, of Liverpool, made no plea or declaration and was bailed when he appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court.

Mr McEllin was charged with being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs.

Grampian Police earlier said drugs were discovered as part of Operation Shield on Friday.
