Aberdeen oil industry firm XPD8 'to create 20 new jobs'

An Aberdeen-based oil and gas industry firm aims to create 20 new jobs, it has been announced.
The company XPD8, which specialises in management of maintenance systems, said it plans to increase its workforce to 55 in the next year.
Three new senior managers have been appointed for a "period of rapid growth".
Managing director Mark Cavanagh said: "We are anticipating strong growth in both revenue and profitability."
Peter Saunders has become general manager, Jeremy Lai finance manager and Ian Cooper maintenance engineering manager.
Mr Cavanagh added: "We have an extremely healthy order book and have bolstered our management team to deliver this and drive new opportunities in the North Sea and internationally."
XPD8 was formed in 2003.
