New flights from Shetland to Aberdeen for two months

Dozens of extra flights between Shetland and Aberdeen in February and March have been announced.

Loganair said it followed news that the Northern Isles ferry services are to be curtailed during an overhaul programme.

Flybe will introduce the fifth service from Sumburgh to Aberdeen on weekdays, except Wednesdays, between 13 February and 30 March.

Jonathan Hinkles, Loganair's chief operating officer, said they were reacting quickly to the situation.
