Donald Trump has flown into Aberdeen, as Scottish Natural Heritage became the latest organisation to drop opposition to plans for an 11-turbine wind farm off the US billionaire's golf course.

The £230m project is a joint venture by Vattenfall, Technip and Aberdeen Renewable Energy Group (Areg).

SNH lifted its objection subject to a number of conditions.

Mr Trump claims the turbines would spoil the sea views for golfers on his course at Menie.

The Ministry of Defence (MoD), National Air Traffic Services (Nats), Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and RSPB Scotland had also voiced concerns about the project.

However, it was announced on Tuesday that they had dropped their opposition after agreeing conditions with the developers.
