Aberdeen 'brilliant' for tourists to see dolphins

It has become known as one of the best places in Europe to catch a glimpse of dolphins playing and feeding.
Aberdeen's "brilliance" as a place for tourists to see dolphins is being highlighted in a new project.
RSPB Scotland is running 'Dolphinwatch Date With Nature' at the city's Torry Battery from Thursday until August.
Whale and Dolphin Conservation (WDC), Aberdeen City Council, VisitAberdeen and Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH) are backing the initiative.
The RSPB's Mairi Cowan said: "Aberdeen is a brilliant place to come to see bottlenose dolphins."
'Sense of privilege'
She said: "From Torry Battery, you can often see them playing and feeding at the harbour entrance.
"I've seen them there many times and have always felt an overwhelming sense of privilege and amazement.
"We are looking forward to some brilliant sightings of dolphins this summer."
Steve Harris, chief executive of VisitAberdeen, added: "People don't always realise what a great place Aberdeen is for watching wildlife but hopefully as a result of this project more people will know about Aberdeen's dolphins and come here to see them."
RSPB staff and volunteers will be on hand every Thursday to Sunday between 11:00 and 18:00.
