MPs are to hear calls for a full public inquiry to be carried out into North Sea helicopter transport.

Aberdeen North MP Frank Doran has secured an adjournment debate on 27 November.

It will be answered by a minister from the Department for Transport.

The House of Commons Transport committee is holding its own inquiry into helicopter safety. It follows the Super Puma crash off Shetland in August in which four people died.
