A new BBC Scotland behind-the-scenes documentary about life at an Aberdeenshire mart is being screened on Monday evenings.
The Mart - a six-part series which was filmed over four months - focuses on Thainstone Mart near Inverurie.
It is featuring those who work there and the farmers who rely on the auctioneers to help sell their livestock.
The first episode of The Mart was on BBC One Scotland at 19:30.
'Great language'
Executive producer Rachel Bell said: "You can find out about about the heart and soul of the farming business in Scotland.
"It's behind-the-scenes at Thainstone which is one of Scotland's biggest livestock marts.
"You can expect to meet some great people and hear some great language."
She added: "One thing that struck us is how farming is a family business.
"Farmers have had a really tough winter, so it is pretty timely."
The first episode is called Meet the Mart.
