Repair work has begun on a leg on a North Sea oil platform damaged during stormy weather.

Almost 80 workers were taken off Brent Bravo on Sunday night due to structural damage to a metal clamp located near a pipeline system.

Shell had 40 of the staff moved to the Brent Charlie platform and 39 to Brent Delta as a precaution.

Brent Bravo is 115 miles (185km) north east of Lerwick in Shetland.
