Aberdeen Spectra light festival under way

Aberdeen's festival of lights - Spectra, external - has been launched.
The four-day event is running until Sunday on multiple sites, including Union Terrace Gardens, Marischal College and St Nicholas Kirkyard.
It brings together work from national and international audio visual artists.
Aberdeen City Council deputy leader Marie Boulton said: "This is a world-class event which provides the city with something totally cutting edge."
