An offshore supply ship detained in Aberdeen on the grounds of non-payment of crew wages has been released, BBC Scotland has learned.
The Malaviya Seven was detained in June under merchant shipping regulations.
The crew was said not to have been paid for several months.
The Martime and Coastguard Agency said: "The Malaviya Seven was released from detention following the payment of crew wages and repatriation of seafarers with expired employment agreements."
The International Transport Workers' Federation said the vessel would be monitored closely.
