Firefighters tackle large grass fire near Banchory

More than 30 firefighters have been involved in tackling a grass fire in Aberdeenshire.

An area of about 8,000 sq metres near Banchory was affected.

Six fire appliances and a forestry fire-fighting unit were called on to deal with the incident.

The fire service was alerted to the incident at 14:24 and the fire has now mostly been brought under control.
