Nan reaches land after being stuck on the cliff face

A sheepdog has been rescued after it fell down a cliff.

Nan's owners raised the alarm after she tumbled over the edge after chasing a rabbit at about 16:00 on Tuesday on the island of Unst in Shetland.

She made her way out of the water about 100ft (30m) below, but was stuck.

A coastguard rope team reached Nan and brought her back up to safety, Shetland Coastguard said. She was not injured and was reunited with her owners.
