Searches are being carried out after a 90-year-old man went missing in Aberdeenshire.
William Ritchie - known as Bill - was last seen on Friday by neighbours in the West Road area of Fraserburgh.
He is described as white, 5ft 7in tall, of slim build, with short, grey hair.
Police Scotland, who have appealed for sightings of Mr Ritchie, said it was not known what he was wearing. He was described as a keen walker, often seen walking around Fraserburgh.
Mr Ritchie is known to do a regular walk which takes in West Road, Strichen Road, Boothby Road and Watermill Road.
Insp Colin Mowat said: "From what we know of Mr Ritchie so far we understand him to be very fit for his age and is known for being a keen walker.
"However, it is extremely unusual for him not to have returned home yet and given the weather conditions at the weekend we are growing increasingly concerned for his safety and well-being."
