Aberdeen youth arts projects awarded £84,000

Twenty projects in Aberdeen have been awarded grants of tens of thousands of pounds from the council's Year of Young People cultural awards programme.
It is aimed at developing creative projects in music, drama and other areas of the arts.
Fifteen youth organisations and five individuals have received grants totalling more than £84,000.
The council approved the programme after withdrawing funding from the Aberdeen International Youth Festival.
