Two pedestrians injured after being struck by car in Stonehaven

Two pedestrians have been taken to hospital after being struck by a car in Aberdeenshire.
Police Scotland said the incident happened on Beach Road in Stonehaven at about 14:20.
A 76-year-old man and 80-year-old woman had been taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary but no details about their conditions has been released.
A force spokesman said the road had been closed to allow investigators to carry out inquiries.
