Unexplained death of man in Aberdeen being investigated

The death of a man in Aberdeen is being investigated by police.

Police were called to a property in the Hayton Road area of the city at about 11:50 on Friday following concern for a 44-year-old man.

Officers attended and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police Scotland said in a statement: "The death is currently being treated as unexplained and inquiries are ongoing."
